Need for Speed is one of the most recognizable and enjoying immense popularity of brands in the portfolio company Electronic Arts. The cycle is developed in parallel in several directions, respectively hitting a chord with fans of simulation (Shift), riding arena (Run) and compete with live opponents (World). After a successful remake of one of the first hits series - Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, the publisher commissioned a team of British developer Criterion Games studio preparing the follow hit of 2005 - Need for Speed: Most Wanted.
